Flexopipe

Flexopipe is an innovative carrier developed by Intercontrol for UTC ultrasonic inspections of nuclear pipes likely to be affected by stress corrosion cracking. Designed based on feedback from field operations, it facilitates the performance of inspections through rapid implementation and remote use, thereby helping to reduce stakeholder exposure and safety.
Compatible with 8 to 16-inch piping, it is positioned directly on the weld bead to optimize control coverage and limit non-acquired areas. While maintaining the detection performance of historical carriers, Flexopipe improves the operational efficiency of inspections and supports the deployment of future UTC campaigns on the nuclear fleet.
